Annabel accepts briefs in commercial, common law and employment matters.
Prior to coming to the bar, Annabel was the Senior Associate to the Honourable Associate Justice Efthim of the Supreme Court of Victoria. As his Honour’s Associate, Annabel gained significant experience on the Corporations List, the Associate Justice Practice Court and in judicial mediations.
Prior to commencing at the Supreme Court, Annabel worked at boutique civil litigation firm, Charles Fice Solicitors. Annabel gained experience in a range of commercial and common law matters, including complex contractual disputes and insolvency.
Annabel has written and spoken on legal technology, Artificial Intelligence and ethics. She is published in the Australian Intellectual Property Journal and co-authored a paper on AI and Legal Services for the Australian Council of Learned Academies.
Annabel is also a research assistant to a Modern Slavery Expert and Lecturer.
Annabel holds a Bachelor of International and Global Studies (Philosophy and Political Economics) from the University of Sydney and a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne.
Annabel is reading with Simon Rubenstein. Her senior mentor is Jonathan Evans QC.
