Anthony was called to the NSW Bar in 1996 and was appointed as Senior Counsel in 2011. He practices from Chambers in Sydney, Melbourne and Darwin. Through his membership of Arbitra International, Anthony is known in London, Washington DC and Abu Dhabi.

He specialises in all forms of ADR, banking, contract, commercial, corporations, insolvency, insurance, professional indemnity, property, and sports law. 

Although a general commercial Silk, he has been recognised by Doyles Guide to the Australian Legal Profession in 2015-2020 as a leading Australian Insolvency and Restructuring Silk.

Anthony is a highly regarded mediator with a particular expertise in the resolution of complex multi-party disputes. He is an AMDRAS Accredited Mediator and also accredited by Resolution Institute as an Advanced Mediator. He is a Fellow of Resolution Institute and of ACICA. He is also internationally accredited as a mediator by the International Mediation Institute, the Singapore International Mediation Institute and the Mediator Accrediting Council of Papua New Guinea.

He has been ranked by Doyles Guide to the Australian Legal Profession in 2018 – 2024 as a leading mediator and is experienced in conducting virtual or online mediations across various platforms including Zoom.

Anthony is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and registered in the Australian Register of Practising Arbitrators as a Grade 1 Arbitrator. He is also registered as an arbitrator in Papua New Guinea and by the Dubai International Financial Centre. He is a member of many of the world’s leading arbitral institutions. He is regularly appointed as an arbitrator both domestically and internationally.

​Anthony has been ranked by Doyles Guide in 2019 - 2024 as one of the country's leading arbitration Silks primarily for his work as an arbitrator.

He is also a leading sports lawyer. He is a Mediator and Arbitrator of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (both in the general and football lists), a member of the National Sports Tribunal, the Acting Racing Appeals Tribunal (NSW), a member of the Football Australia (FA) Appeals Committee, Co-Chair of the FA Disciplinary and Ethics Committee, Deputy Chair of the FA Dispute Resolution Chamber, Chair of the Appeals Tribunal of Football NSW and a member of the AFL NSW/ACT Appeals Board.

Anthony is registered by Resolution Institute as an expert determiner.

Anthony is also a part-time member of NCAT sitting on its Appeal Panel and in the Occupational Division.
